Right now I work from home with a two-desk arrangement—one side has a Lenovo X1 laptop with USB-C, a docking station, and wireless peripherals; the other side uses a PC with two monitors connected via DisplayPort and DVI, plus a wired keyboard and mouse, and a motherboard without USB-C ports. I’m looking for the most affordable way to connect my laptop to both screens and the wired devices. I considered a KVM switch but need guidance since I’m new to them and want clear options.
