A friend recently called about an issue with his keyboard—specifically, the bottom row keys aren’t functioning. The RGB lights work fine, but the Windows key stays litten up and the arrow keys don’t respond except for the "up" arrow. I tried guiding him through uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but it didn’t fix it. I also ran a keyboard troubleshooter via Windows settings, without success. He seems quite frustrated, so I’m sharing this to see if anyone has similar ideas. What might be causing this problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

He had another keyboard connected, and it functioned properly. Also, thank you for the recommendation.

What is the keyboard? Is it a custom one made by him or her, similar to a GMMK Pro, or is it a standard model like a Corsair K70 that would be useful to know? If it's a custom build, placing the switches could cause problems in the bottom row and bend a pin. This wouldn't affect the RGB but would make the keys non-functional.
