In your house you already have a copper internet cable. To connect it to a LAN cable for your PC without using Wi-Fi, you’ll need to splice or terminate the copper cable properly. Make sure to match the connectors and follow proper wiring techniques. If you’re unsure, consider consulting a professional to avoid damage.

I want to know what you're asking about. Are you trying to link a coax cable to your computer or make an RJ45 cable workable?

For phone lines or coax cables, a modem is necessary. Many modems come with built-in wireless routers; usually you'll receive them from your ISP unless you prefer purchasing separately. You can also disable WiFi if needed.
