I'm experiencing an issue with my newly assembled computer; any game consistently crashes within 5 to 10 minutes. This occurs regardless of the specific title – for example, Minecraft was also unstable.

I constructed this PC myself for the first time, and everything worked correctly until I attempted to play Fortnite. Running it on maximum settings, the game crashed after approximately five minutes. I repeatedly restarted the system and adjusted the graphics options, but the crashes persisted. I replicated this problem with both Minecraft and World of Tanks.

Here are the computer’s specifications:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G (4 cores)
GPU: Radeon RX 570 (4GB OC edition)
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M-A
RAM: Patriot Viper Elite Series DDR4 8GB (PC4-21300 2666 MHz)
SSD: Inland pro 480GB (2.5” SATA 6GB/s)
PSU: EVGA 500B bronze non-modular

I’ve taken the following steps to resolve the issue:

- I completely removed and reinstalled all graphics card drivers.
- I used three different driver identification tools, which consistently recommended the same seven drivers for installation.
- I performed a full system reset.
- I verified that all cable connections were secure.

Notably, these crashes only happen when gaming; they don’t occur during other activities. I suspect a graphics card malfunction, though I'm uncertain about the exact cause. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Regarding the “crash,” does this refer to a system restart or a complete application failure returning you to the operating system’s main screen? If it’s the first scenario, the problem likely lies with your power supply unit. Otherwise, either the game itself or your operating system is responsible.

The applications frequently fail and return to the computer’s main screen: they become unresponsive for five to ten seconds before the display turns black. Upon reactivation a few moments later, it reverts me back to the game portal displaying the “application has terminated due to an error” message. Specifically with World of Tanks, it indicates a failure of the graphics card; I’m uncertain how to proceed. I’ve previously reinstalled all my games and the issue persists. I plan to use the Windows repair tool via USB media. I also installed Windows 10 using that same USB media tool, should that be relevant.

Recently, I discovered the issue – my computer has a 3.5 gigahertz processor that can reach a maximum speed of 3.7 gigahertz. It had been configured at 3.85 gigahertz. I really appreciate all of your assistance!
