I need assistance in raising the RAM frequency to 3600MHz
I haven’t had time to test the 1 RAM stick yet, but I’ll follow what Damric suggested right now—it should be fast. I’ll manually set the RAM to 3600 and FLCK to 1800, leave XMP off, use 1.2v SOC, and enable GDM. I’ll check back soon to see if it works or not and report the results. I’m sure the RAM is in the right slots. When I go left to right with the board upright and the RAM slots at the top right, I found them in slots 2 and 4.
Regarding the Die, it’s a Samsung B-Die, which Patriot Support confirmed after I asked them and shared a picture of the RAM label. I don’t know anything else, so I trusted their information—there’s no reason to doubt or be wrong since it’s their product.
I tried leaving FLCK auto just incase as you didn't mention this and things froze at boot. With FLCK set to 1800mhz on the next attempt I actually managed to get to desktop which is a huge step up from needing a CMOS clear. So that advice you gave was definitely great! I sadly still got a BSOD nearly instantly after putting in my PC passcode and seeing the desktop itself but hadn't expected to even get that far. Any further advice on what to try?
1.2v on the SOC? Jesus. Turning off GDM is going to cause issues, particularly when IMC is low. Even with the tightest settings on my 4 stick B-Die kit using a 3900X, I wouldn’t post without resetting the CMOS. It’s not worth it for that little extra, like 0.3 ns?
For me, XMP with tRFC halved performed best. Same latency as when all timings were tightened, but more stable. The default tRFC value is unrealistic.
Also, the DRAM calculator isn’t a magic solution—it’s just a starting point. Some suggestions are extreme, especially for me. I noticed it’s overly optimistic about voltage settings. It gives you recommended values, not a guaranteed success. Sometimes it works, but you’d need to be very lucky.
Examining your Thaiphoon screenshot shows those certified times point to a really bad bin of B-die or even outright fake B-die. I’d send the kit back to Patriot just because of that. Get G.Skills—they always work with AMD, no matter what die they use. I’ve run a 3600MT/s kit at 3800CL16 Hynix dies myself.
It isn't B-die. All B-die cases correspond to Cas 14/16 for 3200/3600. Cas 18 will result in A-die, D-die or Z-die, with the most probable outcome being D-die.
This essentially matches the performance of other RAM models from SkHynix, Micron, Nanya and similar manufacturers.
Make sure you have the newest beta bios; they include updated Agesa, as there were several reports about compatibility problems with the previous stable version.
I'm not sure about the right values for SOC or why disabling GDM is beneficial or harmful. I know the DRAM Calc isn't a complete solution, which is why I came here—it's a lot confusing for me and I find it hard to decide in any direction.
After finishing work, I'll check the auto procODT with XMP enabled and disabled, then update this reply to include that.

I haven't been able to locate the procODT value when it's running on auto. I looked in the BIOS and Ryzen Master but didn't see the setting.

After opening it and discarding it in the PC, I don't believe a straightforward return or refund is possible. Maybe I could try again if it seems reasonable to achieve 3600mhz with Viper RAM. The reviews on that Amazon page suggest some users had success, though others mention it might actually be Hynix CJR.
If it's not B-Die I am completely unable to say what it is myself but if there's something I can do to find out for sure then I am happy to do so. I know nothing about SkHynix, Micron etc and what is good or bad so can't be sure if you're saying the RAM brand itself is the problem or not here.

I can happily update the bios to the beta build though after work and see if that helps. I'll try doing that and then running the RAM at 3600mhz again.

I updated the bios to latest beta and then tried to XMP. I did manage to get to the desktop but then quickly got a BSOD. An improvement from CMOS clearing though
