The issue is clear—it’s the same as it should be. My internet speed over Ethernet used to be 480Mbps now it’s only 30Mbps. I tried several fixes: added a PCIe Wi-Fi adapter and set up a VPN, then removed the VPN without any improvement. Please help if you have some magical insight.

Open Device Manager, remove all your drivers, restart the system and let Windows reinstall them, then verify again.

You're asking about your connection method for Ethernet. Are you plugged directly into the modem or router, or are you using something like a keystone wall jack? Also, do you have another device to test with? Running a speed test on a wireless device can help, but make sure it's right next to the wireless modem/router and on the 5GHz network.

I have additional details to share. On Google’s speed test, my internet runs between 11Mbps and 31Mbps, while Ookla shows 125Mbps. On my phone, it’s about 120Mbps on Google and roughly 410Mbps on Ookla. The performance is definitely there. Should I proceed with a fresh Windows installation? This should help improve things. This machine has previously reached 480Mbps over the same connection.
