I own a decent laptop, just over 1k when I got it, but that’s not important. I chose to test the new, really cool Possum Windows 10 Beta. It started off fine, but around three minutes in Cortona suddenly wiped out Google Chrome. How could she do that? After that mess, it shut down completely. It won’t even let me open “spartan,” the usual browser. I was stuck on my Windows desktop trying to find something to open. After about fifteen frustrating minutes, I decided to restore the system. I thought maybe setup went wrong. But it didn’t. Now I really want to revert back to Windows 8.1, but it’s giving me a hard time. I tried copying the ISO to my flash drive, but it said “Oops, Sorry, We F&%$ up” and closed before I could read the warning below. When it finally worked, it asked for a product key, which I don’t have since my PC already had Windows 8. Can you help me find the right links to get things back on track? Side note: during the video playback, they kept glitching every few minutes, which made those funny 2-second gifs of Linus super entertaining. I might have recorded one with my phone and will upload it once everything’s fixed.

You shouldn't set up Windows 10 unless you're tech-savvy and fully understand what you're doing. It's better to reinstall Windows 8 using the code on your device.

Consider downloading a Windows 8.1 ISO file, then using Rufus to convert it and burn the image onto a USB drive.

The file you're looking for is likely the ISO named en_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051480.iso. Its hash is a8b5df0b0816280ae18017bc4b119c77b6c6eb79.
