I just relocated and while setting up my PC for shipment, I took out the cooler, CPU, and GPU. When it arrived, I reinserted everything and saw the American Megatrends display noticing a new CPU before allowing me into the BIOS. The BIOS lists all hardware, including the SSD, but doesn’t recognize it in the boot order. I have crucial files I want to move off the SSD and want to avoid reinstalling Windows. I’ve used a Windows 10 installation media for repair, but when I run Diskpart, no drives appear in the list. I’ve also checked the power connectors and everything seems fine. Any suggestions on how to boot and preserve my files?

A concept; Your SSD or Windows setup uses MBR, but after reinstalling the CPU a BIOS restart occurred, switching it back to UEFI, which prevents the system from booting properly.

The mobile battery is out, which means the BIOS restarts when you disconnect it. Just reapply the settings. Avoid handling the windows or drive.
