I might need a bit of assistance with a fresh setup
I assembled a fresh PC with the following specifications:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 AMD AM5 ATX
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Raphael AM5 4.5GHz 8-Core Boxed Processor
Memory: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 CL36 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5 - Black
GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Dual EVO White Overclocked Dual Fan 12GB GDDR6X PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
Power Supply: be quiet PURE POWER 12 M 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular Power Supply
Previously, I used an EVGA750 G3 from a prior build. When the new PC began experiencing issues, it appeared to be a power supply fault. After replacing the PSU, the problem continued.
After upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, I performed some troubleshooting but remain uncertain about the correct configurations. Rather than sharing my current setup, I prefer specific guidance on diagnosing and setting up the necessary programs to obtain useful diagnostic information.
The system operates normally, yet it randomly crashes or restarts during games such as Cyberpunk and Ghost of Tsushima, appearing to go black before rebooting.
I suspect this isn’t a temperature-related issue, as performance tests show no crashes under load, and thermal monitoring indicates normal CPU and GPU temperatures. Still, I’m unsure about the stability of these components in my setup.
I would appreciate assistance identifying potential causes and troubleshooting steps.
You're not relying on your previous PSU cables, are you? If you purchased a new PSU, it should have included the necessary cables, as indicated on page 58 of the manual.
