Hey everyone,
In short, I had my 1800X, a RAM stick, and an 1060 Ti all working fine.
About a couple of days ago, I upgraded to a new 3080, which was great at first.
But things started acting up, so I went back to the BIOS to check the clock.
Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it wasn’t showing on the screen.
Now I’m stuck with a computer that only boots into BIOS and can’t be seen. (It shows a black screen until Windows logs in).
I’ve tried restarting multiple times and trying to go through the BIOS menu using my memory of the layout, but it doesn’t work.
I’m really confused—how do I get out of this situation? I also need to see the BIOS screen now.
I’ve only used HDMI outputs, not a USB or other ports.
Anyone have any ideas? I’m pretty new to computers and shouldn’t have been doing this in the first place...

Reset CMOS...check the motherboard manual. You might remove the battery while also shorting the reset pins.
All custom configurations will be lost, such as clocking. However, the standard settings will boot the system and keep it running smoothly if everything is properly installed and there are no damages.

Right, so I've managed to get windows to boot now, but I still need to sort out by stability issue.
I still cannot find a way to make the BIOS show up via HDMI.
And the onboard graphics also do not seem to be functioning to utilise for BIOS settings.
How can I get BIOS menu to become visible as the displays remain inactive until windows log on screen loads.
The Ryzen CPU lacks built-in graphics, meaning the motherboard connectors won't work. You need to use the GPU connectors for your monitor.
Yes, unplugged and had BIOS battery out for about 5 min. Swapped in a fresh battery. Still displaying the clock setting I set, not actually trying to keep playing but can't reset it. Really annoying. Probably better to take it to the pros.
