Unless you have a specific reason to think it is broken, and it is the proper psu then nothing bad should happen. Even if it is broken it needs to be pretty broken to fry really anything.

Most people don’t check their power supply before connecting it. It’s almost impossible to avoid getting a faulty unit, and even testing it wouldn’t help much if the PSU was extremely problematic.

You'll recognize it as dry when it no longer appears damp. For confirmation, place it flat on a surface and wait a few hours.
