At school we receive laptops with certain limits. Recently I had to remove some user accounts in /users and now the admin is loading using the sys32/config/systemprofile profile instead of the c:\users profile. I planned to edit the \systemprofile in regedit (under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList), but then I noticed it could affect the system boot OS. How can I make the admin boot from a users folder rather than sys32?

What's the point? They seem just as clueless as the people who claim to know everything about tech support.

They might not seem like it, but they're here and they'll likely be called out as a "hacker."

I won't allow that to happen. If I can't fix it, I'll have them reinstall the OS when I return. After all, I'm here to find a solution.

Restoration could be useful, it seems the file history feature is available in Windows 8.

You're asking if we should reinstall the folder. I've already attempted moving them back from another user's account, but the system still won't start from it.
