I just upgraded my hardware and the system is telling me to turn on Windows.
Yesterday I replaced my PC with a Ryzen 1500X from an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T. It functioned properly at first, but after some time I noticed the bottom of the screen disappearing. I opened settings and went to Windows troubleshoot, then clicked on "I recently changed hardware." After signing in, it told me Windows couldn't activate. The key I bought online was from a key retailer. My current specs are AMD Ryzen 1500X, M-series B350, Intel Core i9-13900K, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, and 1TB WD Blue.
Sure, just to clarify, I don't believe I still possess the original key.
Did you utilize the same hard drive? If not and you still possess the older drive, you could perform a fast out-of-case boot using it and run a registry scan for your key. A method like this would be suitable: https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/. Otherwise, you’ll probably need to purchase a new key or use it without it, though you’ll miss some features, updates, and security patches.
I'll use the key finder and let me know if it functions properly
Your product key appears functional but encounters issues connecting to Windows activation servers.
