They do indeed. Cheats such as skeet.cc and FlowHooks often go unnoticed by VAC. Valve has been working to improve the cheating detection system recently, and it's making progress, though the process remains slow and long overdue. They previously banned 60,000 accounts a few months ago.

Wow, no big deal, crazy man... thanks for the info. It's really shocking to see 60k accounts deleted. Still sad they can't fix the hacking issues. They handled it back in UT99, and I think they did Quake 3 too. Those days were much safer.

things are progressing in the direction of cheating, unfortunately. the updated VAC network system uses AI and has improved at managing reports and cheaters. valve should improve more or i'll be switching to third-party competitive play.
