Are you missing the excitement? I’m checking if I can hit stable 60 fps at high 1080p with my R9 280 dual cooling. The benchmarks I saw were around 285, but some odd resolutions like 1600x900 or 1900x1200 popped up.

Performance should be exceptionally fluid on your 280. Generally smooth with a lot of high settings and 2x MSAA delivers 40-60 frames per second on the 7970 (actual clocked at 280x).
