I browsed Steam and noticed the first two borderlands were available, but the prequel alone was selling for about £11. That means Steam really got me excited, and I ended up with a solid deal.

I don't believe you grasp my point. Even without the triple pack, I'd still have to pay the full £11.99 if I didn't already own it.

Now I understand your point, correct. You'd have to pay the full amount unless you got it as a package deal. Only when you purchased it together would it be more affordable due to this arrangement.
