Hi, yesterday I finally got GTA V on Steam, but because of its size I had to wait until today. It didn’t work well once started. When I launch it, it always opens Social Club, loads briefly, then says I can’t play offline since I haven’t logged in before. I tried reinstalling Social Club and deleting everything from GTA V and the Social Club folder. The issue is switching between online and offline still happening, and I’m not sure what to do next. Any suggestions?

I faced issues linking to the Rockstar servers recently, only managing to load my single-player game while missing the social club. It seems these services are currently down for everyone. All this constant online noise irritates me. Despite having 500 hours on my account, I couldn’t play offline and even refused to let me play the campaign without internet. I dislike game piracy, but when paying customers like me experience such problems, it pushes me away from being seen as a legitimate player.

They're definitely down right now, I didn't notice that earlier. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-...st-Updates All services are offline at the moment, nice... no GTA V available then. ffs...

They posted a notice about three days ago. If it takes roughly five hours, it’s now six... That’s normal for them, though they usually do this only once a year.

Three days back I didn't own GTA V either, so I wasn't aware. Now all I can do is wait and hope the servers come back online soon.

The team planned a five-hour service window for the servers.
