system details AMD Ryzen 57700x3d DDR4 RAM (two sticks) 650w power supply (PSU) Gigabyte B55M DS3H AC Mobo 9060 16GB RAM (initial setup) I connected everything, powered it on, and saw the FTPM screen prompting me to press Y. Then a black screen appeared with no display visible. I checked all the instructions before posting. Reset the battery, changed from DP cable to HDMI. Despite these changes, the BIOS still doesn’t appear.
Disable CMOS by taking it out for a minute then reinstall the tiny battery on the board
Try launching with just one RAM stick unless you've already set it up. Are the motherboard's debug lights off? Do you recall the BIOS version you're running? You might need to upgrade the BIOS to accommodate a late x3D CPU, and you can use the QFlash USB port with an SD card.
Attempted to start the system without a RAM stick and got no response. Missing RGB connectors, unsure if that’s the issue. Not sure why the Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC wasn’t purchased from Amazon—it arrived fresh off Amazon. Noticed it may require a BIOS update for 5800X3D support, but I already have a 5700X3D and my current BIOS isn’t functioning. Uncertain about the steps to perform the update.
Your board supports QFlash, allowing you to transfer the latest BIOS onto a USB drive. Insert the USB into the designated QFlash port, activate the process, and it will complete the update automatically without needing a boot.
