Hey everyone, I’ve dealt with Intel i9 problems with the 14th generation and had to replace my CPU. This isn’t the main point, but while I was working on it, I noticed some cracking or peeling in the paste and a small gap. The cooling solution got a bit too bulky, so I might trim it down a bit but still get decent coverage. I’m curious what you think about the pattern—seems like overheating, though I’m just guessing based on limited info. From what I know, some cores throttled more than others, probably near the bare area. What do you all think? Any tips for the new CPU with a contact frame?
