I increased my GPU's speed, but the screen shows no signal now.
My PC build...
Msi x470 Gaming Plus
Ryzen 7 2700x
The CPU stock cooler
1 rtx 2070 gaming z
27" 1920x1080p monitor
Samsung ssd 1tb
750w psu
I assembled the PC, everything functioned properly, could play games smoothly with over 100fps
I planned to overclock the GPU for better performance...
Applied MSI Afterburner, increased core clock to 190MHz and memory clock to 1200MHz
Everything operated well until the GPU failed and the screen went dark
It restarted and reported a problem
Reformatted the drive, tried again...
Still no response...
When the PC started, the GPU ran at normal speed (100%)
This suggests the overclock wasn't triggered
Am I having issues with my monitor?
Could the GPU have been damaged?
I can't even access BIOS... it just shows no signal and powers off...
Help needed
Figured it out, had to change the CPU and GPU cables connected to the psu
A crucial file got corrupted while running Windows 10
I had an antivirus warning about a problematic sys32 file...
I’m going to remove the antivirus
I’m reinstalling Windows and I hope it works
The CPU wasn't overclocked, yet the RAM was configured at 3200mhz. I reinitialized the BIOS to check for issues, but no changes were made.
