Hey, as the title states I hit 5.2GHz overclock on my i5-7600K today, with the MSI Z270A gaming pro carbon mobo.
Was wondering if it really is possible and if I might've not really reached it, as I've only seen statements of 5GHz max.
My core voltage was raised to 1.355
CPU Base ratio to 52
Anything over, it would crash.
ran AIDA64 For 43 minutes, it was steady the entire time.
All cores averaged at 5198.
Temps never reached 65.
0% thermal throttling.
Did I win the Silicon lottery?
Any input?

The statistics indicate that the median Kaby Lake OC runs at 5.1 GHz and 1.36 V, meaning your CPU is significantly better than average but still within reasonable limits.

It appears reasonable, but I won't increase the Vcore further. Although the temperatures seem acceptable, handling such high current continuously is challenging.

Try OCCT, CPU Linpack, 5 minutes, 50% RAM, 64 bits. Skip pauses.
If successful, attempt 10 minutes.
If everything works, enjoy the ride.
