I don't recall anything, so someone might help clarify this, though I doubt they'll let you win by paying.
I’m not sure if I own a Constellation, but others in the group likely do.
Currently, we’re not fully informed because the PU isn’t finished yet. In short, there are enough people ready to take action in any area—mining, hauling, or military.

Welcome to our small universe below. Did you try it before? If not, look at this discussion: You can get in-game currency from CIG, but the amount is limited each month. All real-money items will become available later in-game. There will always be illegal gold traders, but since the player-to-AI ratio is 1:9, they can't completely eliminate the 2: right now through the pledge store under ship upgrades. In the future, you can sell your ships to help fund a new purchase. Yes, you can place an Archimedes on a Constellation Andromeda. 3: Whatever you need, we’ll adapt to what you have.

It's better to purchase ships gradually rather than paying cash upfront. Converting funds monthly into a set amount of UEC each month works, though it's less appealing. I wonder if the available funds will shift the balance in favor of wealthier players. Could a ship from a specific group, such as the constellation, be enhanced with beneficial features like upgraded fuel (Aquila) or a battery (Phoenix)?

They probably aim for balance so it stays fair rather than turning into a purely financial game. I believe the outcome depends more on player skill and whether you have support from your organization or friends. For instance, the constellation isn't a strong contender in combat—it's not terrible, but against focused opponents it struggles. A bigger or more expensive option doesn't automatically mean better performance in every situation. I'm still figuring this out, especially since the models are similar and not just different versions, so you won't get the same level of modularity as with the Avenger or similar ships.

I mentioned earlier that AI will outnumber players ninefold, which means players can't disrupt the economy no matter how hard they try. Second, the UEC funds available from CIG are capped each month and likely for players as well, helping to prevent exploitation. Still, nothing is finalized yet. The ships are designed to be modular, allowing entire sections—like the nose and neck of Aquilla or the body from Pheonix—to be swapped out, though this may differ between vessels.

Ha! I guessed that too. My idea was based on the fact that the constellation offers a decent cargo bay, multiple docking spots, plenty of space for ground troops, and a dedicated fighter sloop. So I thought we'd send one or two fighters out to raid merchants or help with bigger battles as a transport.

This really enhances the game's appeal for me.

Those with both time and resources will form a small group unlikely to influence major changes. Because this isn't a player-driven economy like most other MMOs, unusual financial flows will attract attention from those managing the system. David Ladyman and another expert (Harvard economist, name uncertain) will oversee operations. Unlike typical MMOs, active direct messages will be available. Developers will be visible in key areas and address concerns in real time, though the contact method remains unclear. Customizing ship configurations is a notable advantage. Currently, the system is in its early development phase (though not infancy). Regarding resources, you'll need to balance battery capacity with fuel storage—space is limited and equipment size matters. Every aspect has a physical footprint, which can be compromised by weapon impacts in those zones. Extra space may only accommodate certain items or large, bulky gear.

Welcome! I think the other guys answered your questions so well that i'm not going to focus on them but wanted to just point out that unfortunately they need to keep a way servers up thus the UEC purchases, it's more for people that don't have the time to play the game so I'm guessing the UEC will be limited if say you play an average amount of hours a week. Chris has said however that if this fails that they will look at selling ships or other sources of income, like tailored adverts put in game but just remember this is plan B. The other thing is there will be a PvE vs PvP slider so if you feel like your being battered you can adjust the slider, the way I think this will work is there will be people flying from a to b and a random chance that they are put in your instance, you may find that they fly by or offer you help or blow you to smithereens, you won't however be able to limit the amount of occurrences which means it may be like being in a cave in Pokemon but this does mean if your worried about players affecting your game you can switch it to PvE.
