My computer keeps crashing whenever I play any game, not just one particular title. After launching a game, it stops working after a short time. I took it to a repair shop where they updated Windows and said everything was fine, but I’m curious if there’s anything I can do myself. My thermal performance is still good.

All devices need updates, it's unclear what the person at the shop did

It seems like you're experimenting with RAM configurations. Consider removing all RAM modules and testing the system with just one stick to observe stability improvements.

I understand the hardware setup is solid—ram capacity and slot functionality are confirmed. I’ll attempt to test if removing a single stick resolves any issues. Shouldn’t the system manage the increased memory effectively?

It could be that one of your RAM slots isn't working properly or that a RAM stick is defective. A bad RAM stick might lead to these problems.

Do they? What are the maximum temperatures for the CPU, GPU, and motherboard when under heavy use?

basically, using one stick is a simple and cost-free method to check if the problem relates to memory or how the board manages it. In most cases, random crashes are often linked to memory issues, according to my experience with PC diagnostics. If the system runs smoothly with limited RAM, you can likely pinpoint whether the issue is with the RAM or the board itself.
