I own a MSI gaming edge Z390 motherboard. I have two M.2 hard drives—one WD blue 500GB and another WD Black 1TB. Two nights ago the GPU failed. The system runs with onboard graphics. I have 32GB of Corsair RAM 3600MHz and an I7-9700 processor with liquid cooling. That’s the essential setup. I believed my Nivida 3060 was defective, only 16 months old. But after purchasing a 3060 TI triple setup, the issue persists. I changed the CMOS battery, swapped PCI ports on both cards, and updated the cables from the PSU. Still, a black screen appears when trying to use the GPU—onboard graphics are functioning correctly.

I modified it about a year ago after suspecting a PSU issue. I was using an 850 EVGA and replaced the PSU, but later discovered there was a loose connection on the MB. The new PSU came with a light system, so I decided to leave it in.
