I have internet access and can navigate the browser, but logging into Steam, games, or Discord isn't working.

Tell me about your internet setup: connection type, speed, modem or router brand, and how you link in. Also share your computer details.

College Wi-Fi is available, I have an i7 13700h with RTX 4070, but I’m unsure about the motherboard. It might help if you can share more details.

The university could be restricting access to certain sites. Consider using a VPN as an alternative. If you lack one, ProtonVPN offers a free option; once resolved, you'll understand the reason and have the choice to buy a VPN to overcome the limitation.

My internet connection is functioning properly for browsing, but I’m having trouble playing games now. It worked fine yesterday, and I managed to play without issues then.

It would have been helpful to know what updates you made yesterday. Since we weren’t present, please share what changed so you can be clear and honest.

I can describe the appearance of opening those apps. I can also attempt to verify a connection to https://discord.com. Searching for information online may indicate whether the site is accessible or if there are any issues. If you need further assistance, let me know.

I only downloaded a game from Epic Games, but I learned they made changes to the college servers. I wondered if that might be the reason.

It mentions you couldn't link to Steam, EA, or Epic servers, depending on the game.

It seems the college implemented some kind of security measure to restrict access to certain sites. Using a VPN might help, but if that doesn’t resolve the issue, consider removing your account from the VPN provider and uninstalling it.
