As discussed, I have the mentioned 4 PCs. I don’t need something newer. Graphics aren’t a top concern, though it might be worth trying out a few fresh games. I’m an anime fan and would like a connection that feels like cyberpunk 2077, similar to what I see, but 1080 hd is acceptable. I’m aware I’ll lose my two firewire interfaces unless I can install a card that supports them. I’ll keep the others networked so I can run my pluming and connect my audio interfaces into a desk. Of course, price matters...
I’d also like to get a laptop to run traktor, any recommendations?
I was thinking of purchasing a Power Mac 5.1 with two or six-core Xeons and would look for good deals—really good bargains are available. I actually bought a Pro 1.1 dual-core CPU with a 2.66 GHz clock speed for £1700 when it launched! I had a brand new G4 iBook in 2004 for another £850, but I’m not financially able to buy new Macs and interfaces. I need to build a solid desktop and laptop.

What is your budget in pounds for a PC and a laptop? There are many choices for a good Intel or AMD gaming computer. High-end gaming laptops might be too costly if you already have a solid tower setup.
It's tough to decide what to say. I'd suggest a laptop with a maximum of 200, preferably less. A used machine would work well. A couple of years back I purchased a second-hand model with a dual-core CPU and a socketed CPU socket. I then bought a third-core CPU for a very low price. The original machine is no longer in my possession, but it could run a DVS system. We're only considering 2 audio channels and maybe 2 or 3 FX units, and I'm confident the interface can handle some DSP tasks.
I'm hoping to find something similar from the laptop side. If possible, I'd like to run NI Audio 4 or 8, though I'm unsure about the drivers for these ports. I'm certain there are no Windows 10 drivers available, so I'd prefer an 8.1 version. Tracktor suggests a price of 90 pounds, but the interface would likely be around 60 pounds. The laptop could bring it up to 350 pounds.
For the desktop, it would be great if it was up-to-date. A 300 TDP model with a good CPU, RAM, and PSU would be ideal, along with a case, drives, and a GPU. I'm considering a second-generation R5 or something similar for now. The ASRock AB350 MB, Ryzen 3 2200G, Corsair TX550m, and Corsair Vengeance LX memory are all good options I've seen in DDR3. I have four SIMMs of this in my PCs, which works well.
I know I'm asking a lot, but the parts I mentioned were from a few years ago. It seems there are better or even cheaper alternatives now. Please let me know what you think.
