Often I have two slower games running at the same time. Until recently there were no problems. Now whenever I switch tabs between games I have to click several times. I spent more than two hours trying to fix it. Closing tasks in Task Manager, updating drivers, changing the mouse—nothing helped. Please help me resolve this issue. I’m not very familiar with software. I usually play in windowed or borderless mode and use Windows 10 if that makes a difference.

The simplest approach would be to play just one game at a time.
Your computer might be running low on memory, making alt-tab use difficult.
Alternatively, it could be that your keyboard is not functioning properly.
Which games are you interested in?
Could you provide the full specifications of your PC?

It’s definitely not the ram. I have 64g. I’m unsure why it doesn’t switch tabs even though it supports alt tab, and sometimes clicking on the taskbar highlights the selected tab before returning to the previous one.

I usually play the most popular games together, such as wizard101, along with webfishing or a placid plastic duck simulator.
My system has 64 GB of RAM, an intel i7 cpu, and a nvidia geforce rtx 3060 graphics card.
Switching tabs works well when I’m using games and apps like steam, discord, or a browser, but not between games for any reason.
