Downloading updated graphics drivers quickly at 100 kb/s is what I’d prefer. Anything for a faster internet connection would be great—1mb/s is perfect for me.

I can offer some guidance if you're interested. With the top Wi-Fi configuration I have—3x3 router paired with a 4x4 Wi-Fi card packed with many antennas—I achieve speeds of up to 1GB/s on Wi-Fi, and latency stays around 8ms to 10ms.

It doesn't matter if your internet service provider isn't providing adequate performance to the nearest server.

It seems Wi-Fi speed in your area might be limited to around 1GB/s. Appreciate the tip!

I possess a single connection directly to the ISP and optical fiber.

In my country, Wi-Fi speeds rarely reach 1 gigabit per second, making any usage impractical.

If there is a plan where you can get 1GB/s with Ethernet then you will be able to make it work with Wi-Fi.

The connection goes directly to a random CO without going through the ISP. DSL works the same way—it isn't a unique trait.
