If memory OC is supported, the system will attempt to operate at 3600 unless the CPU struggles, after which it may stop responding or become unstable.

I think you're referring to the 11400 chip. It's typically limited to 3200MHz, but XMP allows it to operate at 3600MHz.

IF it boots with it yes. Worst case cmos reset. It is a memory oc so 0 guarantees.

Get 3200 RAM. The 11400 doesn’t require 3600, and you won’t have to deal with any of that.

If it fails you need to remove the oc and sometimes this can result in the pc not booting due to it. Then you need to clear the cmos where all these settings are stored. Often there is a switch but the most fail safe way is to just remove the battery on the board and place it back.
