Linus consistently disables motion blur during testing because he finds it detrimental.
He doesn't approve of it. He dislikes it just like he does him personally.
Most users dislike motion blur. In my view, it's a poor feature that should be turned off by default. Those who enjoy it should be the ones to enable it, since most players dislike motion blur in games.
