I own a GTX 1050 with 2GB of memory, and my WWE 2K22 is acting really weird sometimes. When the game runs at 60 frames per second, it works fine for play. But on other times, the screen drops to only 20 frames per second, which makes it not playable and creates those stuttering moments that make everything shake up and down. I've tried all my tricks to make sure the graphics card is doing its job, but nothing seems to help. Could you give me some advice? I have this HP Omen 15 laptop.
Add HP Omen 15 specs and OS info to your post. Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor while gaming at full speed, then check again when it drops to 60 fps or even lower to 20 fps. Open one tool but keep the window open on a second monitor so you can watch both systems in real time. You might find some apps starting up behind the scenes that are slowing things down. The goal is to figure out what causes your frame rate to drop. It's okay to go through this step by step; sometimes it takes a few tries just to get used to how these tools work. Another great tool to check is Process Explorer (free from Microsoft). Go here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s-explorer and see if you can find other clues about why your game is stuttering.
I did that. I really don't get why the game isn't using my GPU at all and it only uses about 30% of my power. My PC is a bit old with this setup: an Intel Core i7-7th gen, 8GB of RAM, an Nvidia GTX 1050 with 2GB of video memory, and I have a 1TB hard drive.
That's possible since the GPU doesn't have enough RAM for its own power, so it keeps reloading data instead of stretching its legs.
