When playing demanding games, performance stays stable at around 90 fps, but occasional significant drops occur (average from 90 to 15). During those drops, the bottom left corner displays a high GPU latency warning (100+) for roughly ten seconds. I've tested various solutions but haven't found a clear fix. My build details are as follows: GL704GM
From another message I just replied to:
There are actions you can take.
Utilize Task Manager and Resource Monitor to track system performance.
Employ both utilities, but use only one at a time.
Another option is Process Explorer (Microsoft, free).
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s-explorer
Launch the tool window, place it anywhere on your screen or even on a second monitor if feasible. Keep it open and do nothing for a while—just observe what the system is doing or attempting.
After leaving the window open, launch cs2 and play as usual. Continue monitoring the tool window.
The goal is to identify how changes affect FPS. Note which system resources are being consumed, to what degree, and which resource is being used most.
This process will need some time and effort from you to understand the setup and watch for variations. Visual graphs may highlight peaks or dips related to FPS shifts.
FPS reductions might stem from background applications trying to update, back up, or simply connect to the internet.
It could also happen when the tool is started at boot or later via Task Scheduler.
Don’t rush or make quick adjustments. Seek consistent patterns you can influence to trigger FPS drops.
Keep in mind you can capture screens and share them here via imgur (www.imgur.com).
