I know Chromium OS is a niche distro you can easily download, and it definitely looks appealing. The custom disc label shows a lot of effort went into it, making it a nice collectible item. At around 15 dollars today, it feels like you could buy a fast food meal for a small treat. It’s a cute little addition to your collection.

Disks are often the top choice for PC upgrades. I discovered a Windows 10 installation disc inside an old disc drive from a family friend’s HP computer. It worked well because it only recognized the drive I placed in, making it a reliable option.

It's a bit straightforward for me, but everyone has their own preferences. This isn't about personal taste—it's quite a technical task. I'm not a designer, yet I created these labels in just five minutes when I was experimenting with my own media. It's a little more involved than that; you can't simply grab the official ChromiumOS live image like you would with Debian. (ChromiumOS is different from ChromeOS.) You'd need to build it yourself. That likely explains why such resources exist. Alternatively, you could download an ISO from some random source... which feels similar to buying that DVD, except you have to be sure the third party hasn't done anything questionable. Either way, if you're planning to display it as decoration (not for use), I get why it might look interesting to some.

I acquired two outdated Ubuntu discs from the time Canonical offered free discs to users.

I don't back such homemade CD releases. They often scam users and don't justify the price. The best you can get is around $2.50, but nothing worth $15. If you're okay with older versions, they might be more useful and better value. I bought OpenBSD 5.0 once—it came with a book, stickers, and three CDs.
