Task Manager in Windows 10 includes a menu option for the GPU to display its current activity, which is really useful! When working with software like Photoshop or Capture One, it’s interesting to know whether you’re seeing information about compute or CUDA. I’m excited about this feature if it helps clarify what’s happening.

Try it out. It doesn't handle every kind of workload well. The GPU has been running intensely for these tasks, yet the Task Manager shows zero usage across all categories. It's not very trustworthy... GPUZ could give you a clearer picture of how much the GPU is being used, even if it doesn't provide detailed breakdowns. HWInfo also categorizes it into several sections.

Curious about how your AMD graphics card performs in Photoshop, especially since it lacks CUDA support.

It's regrettable that Task Manager isn't consistent in showing information; otherwise it would be much more helpful.

Microsoft's performance has improved, albeit at a very gradual pace.

Don't worry, they're going to alter it again soon, causing everything to break. They're still frustrating about how much harder it is now to locate the WiFi connection speed compared to before.

Photoshop offers minimal GPU support unless you're using 3D assets. In that case, performance boosts only apply to the preview, not while rendering.
