Previously I attempted Divine Divinity but it’s extremely unstable these days. Path of Exile keeps dropping to low frames and feeling choppy without any clear cause. I’d rather avoid Diablo III because I don’t support Blizzard and can’t justify backing them up for this reason. I’m considering Torchlight again, though I wasn’t very impressed back then. Titan Quest is on my Steam account, and I’m open to buying something inexpensive—around twenty bucks or a bit more. What are your thoughts if we ignored the future, loot obsession in RPGs?

It's not a multiplayer game, yet I really enjoyed the experience in Dragon Quest.

Multiplayer isn't necessary, yet I didn't realize there was an action RPG instead of a turn-based Dragon Quest. I only remember the NES/SNES titles and one PS2 game I played.

I believe the entire collection is built around a turn-based system, which I appreciate, though it seems unlikely to be feasible.

I have a variety of turn-based RPGs available, but I’m not suggesting one in particular. You might enjoy something simple and casual while watching YouTube.

I found a great title in my Steam library, part of a modest bundle. I’ll update it when I locate it. Edit: Retro City Rampage isn’t the one I’m recalling, though it’s quite entertaining. Edit 2: Overture.
