I feel a strong unease about this situation.
I feel a strong unease about this situation.
I upgraded to the fall creators update and noticed several major issues. The Ryzen master drivers are missing, and after trying to uninstall and reinstall, I encountered an error during the process. For the first time, my fans increased their speed while I was browsing lightly, so I switched to Corsair Link on my H110i. Unfortunately, my cooler still didn’t appear, and it wasn’t showing up at all. Are others experiencing similar problems, and do you have a solution?
It feels familiar, similar to the experience with older Windows versions like Win7, 8, or 8.1.
It seems Ryzen Master is behaving oddly, but your fans are getting louder while you browse the web—this might be linked to changes in the power-saving settings after the Fall Creators update. Balanced now functions as high performance because cores won’t sit idle anymore, which increases power use and heat generation.
I’ll check it tomorrow and share the update, but will it remove the corsair link override? I rolled back to an earlier restore and got the link working again, though I’m stuck deleting it without success. It keeps throwing errors during removal—will wait a bit to see if others face the same problem before posting on MS. I’ll try opening Ryzen Master in the command prompt again; I’m forgetting how now.
