I favor 30 frames per second rather than 60.
I wasn't able to run the game on the console due to low frame rate. Anything below 30 fps causes discomfort (besides movies). I like smooth motion in games for a realistic feel, so higher FPS is better in my opinion. For GTA, 45 fps works fine, though I still dislike the stuttering—it's really annoying.
I also like 30 frames per second on my setup for many games. But that’s mainly because I’m comfortable at 30 and most drops between 60 and 55-58 cause a much worse experience. For this machine (based on what I know) in the 55-58 range, things don’t sync properly with the screen, making it uncomfortable for my eyes and causing headaches. It feels like my vision isn’t working together or I’m seeing two images in each eye. Even when stationary, I can’t stare at it for extended periods without needing to pause. I don’t know why, it doesn’t look like tearing or jittering—it just feels like a subtle, invisible electrical discomfort.
I prefer 60 frames per second, but I often can't reach that speed.
