I encounter the most bizarre issue after installing the new PC, which really frustrates me!
Hello, I recently installed an RTX 4080 Tuf with a 1,000W Be Quiet Platinum and experienced some unusual behavior. While playing games like Sons of the Forest, Atomic Heart, and Hogwarts Legacy, I notice my frame rates hover around 40-60 FPS at ultra settings on both 1440p and 4K. Switching to lower settings doesn’t improve performance. After closing and reopening the game, I consistently see over 100 FPS without any adjustments. This pattern also appears in Superposition. This marks my first benchmark: View: https://imgur.com/a/qJ2kVNq Second: View: https://imgur.com/a/m4n97bP I didn’t alter anything except refreshing the benchmark and rerunning it. The issue persists during gameplay.
My system specs: Motherboard MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon WIFI CPU Intel Core i5-11600K RAM G.Skill RipjawsV 16GB DDR4-3200MHz GPU ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X Cooler Corsair Hydro Series H100i PSU Be Quiet Straight Power 11 1000W.
Please let me know if anyone can assist—I’m really frustrated and this has been bothering me for two consecutive days. I should also mention my CPU usage: on the first test, every core is at 100%, while in the second, one core runs at 10-30% and others stay around 1-7%.
