I was updating my room setup and had to relocate my Desktop, but during the move it fell a few inches and landed awkwardly. Now my computer feels extremely sluggish—much slower than usual. I can't even run Chrome or Discord smoothly. I've looked at Task Manager, and everything looks fine except for my memory usage, which stays around 25-35%. I've restarted the PC several times, but nothing seems to help. It probably isn't a software issue; I suspect a hardware problem since the drop was the main cause of the issues. My system runs a 3070ti processor, Ryzen 5 3700x, two 8GB RAM sticks, and a 465GB SSD. I can share more details if you'd like.

Take apart each component carefully and put them back together in the correct order.

You didn't note the temperatures. Were they verified? A heatsink might have dislodged during the landing.

Verify the temperature readings and CPU frequency. It seems the cooler may have been dislodged.

It seems the problem might not be with me at all. Right away the PC would run very slowly, and it would take some time for the heating to begin. I’ll definitely look into it once you confirm! My setup uses a water cooling system for the CPU, while my GPU relies on fans.

Not really, if you have a total "thermal link failure" then it'll be throttling from bios, let alone booting. Checking the temps is the easiest way.

I chose to disassemble my whole PC and reassemble it, removing all the dust and debris. The system is now working properly again. Appreciate all the advice!
