You just ran the 3DMark test and got a score below average. Your system scored 7067 out of a possible 8456, which is around 7323. It looks like there might be room for improvement to boost performance.

Unless you've verified the CPU temperature and confirmed it isn't throttling, ensured the CPU is boosting or overclock stable, checked that the GPU isn't throttling, updated your drivers, and validated your RAM performance, then you're likely comparing results from users who pushed their systems to extremes. Why are you making such a comparison?

Welcome to the discussions! Please note that synthetic benchmarks aren't suitable for comparing performance between different systems or for assessing real-world improvements. Your current setup is ideal for this configuration.

cpu highest temp during the test peaked at 66 celcius, gpu at 67. i dont know how to check if my ram is running at normal speeds, i do know that xmp is off though. im not comparing, i was curious about testing my system after 3 years of use, the parts aren't that bad and i just wanted to know the status/etc..

Check the temperatures during high usage. Open CPU-Z and look at the Memory section to find your RAM's current speeds. For instance, if you have DDR4-3200 and DRAM Frequency is 1800MHz, that's typical because DDR4 operates at double the data rate—so multiply by two for 3600MHz. This logic works for other DDR variants too. Everything looks fine!

The RAM frequency you mentioned is correct. Your current setup uses Corsair DDR4 16GB with a 3000 CL15 speed, which is standard. If you're experiencing issues, check for overheating, proper installation, or compatibility problems.

Your system runs at DDR4-2133, which means XMP isn't needed in BIOS. Open BIOS, turn on XMP, apply the changes, and reboot. This will boost your RAM speeds to around 1500MHz or higher.

The speed of 2133mhz is significantly less than the 3000mhz your RAM claims to support. Consider enabling XMP at 3000mhz. A lower score is typical if your CPU hasn't been updated.

I'll enable XMP now and see if it improves performance. Your CPU/GPU configurations might also affect results, so adjusting them could help too.
