I’d stick to Steam only if companies like Uplay and Origin didn’t make you feel pressured to use them whenever you want. I’m not claiming Steam is better, but it meets most of what I need. Forcing me to install unused programs just so I can play a small portion of their games is really annoying.

Steam and a touch of Origin... Not UPlay. I prefer not to play digital titles on consoles, so I avoid the PS Store or eShop.

I also rely on Origin and GOG, but your question focuses on the primary platform and its most popular choice. That’s why I went with Steam. You’ll see the poll results showing Steam’s higher share than it actually does.
