I use a chromebook so i have rather a lot. a few games don't show there nor does http://www.googulator.com/ <- this being a gameboy emulater that runs totally in chrome

I rely solely on this tool.
If you skip this add-on, you'll be leaving behind a significantly quicker online session (my site speeds up by 5-30% or more when using it).
P.S. It's available under an open-source license.

dDownloader 2 performs significantly better than DownThemAll and functions across all browsers since it operates as an independent application.

For open source software it has tad too many bloatware and ads. So far its not what I would like but I can see why you think it matches with DownThemAll!. And it apparently lacks the main function why I use DTA in first place. Ability to download all linked files in page. Useful when courses have material listed as links to PDF files. I tried jDownloader in one of those sites, used link grabber and it didn't find any files. I also need popup which asks about dl location since I don't want to dump everything in single folder. In all it is a option but not near features I which I use DTA for. If you know how I can get it working like DTA, pm me.
