Malwarebytes is not an antivirus. Here is what Malwarebytes say. Does Malwarebytes Anti-Malware replace antivirus software? MBAM does not target documents such as; PDF, DOC, DOCx, XLS, XLSx, PPT, PPS, ODF, etc. It also does not target scripted malware files. That means MBAM will not target; JS, PY, .HTML, VBS, VBE, .CLASS, SWF, SQL, BAT, CMD, PDF, PHP, etc. It also does not target media files; MP3, WMV, JPG, GIF, etc.

They cover the cost of Norton, but I rely on MalwareBytes. They keep insisting Norton is superior without any proof, right?

You just mentioned it in a way that seems like a common shortcut. No extra details needed.

Comcast seems to be your ISP, which is really disappointing. On the flip side, if you're using Google Fiber, you're clearly not getting what you paid for.

Did anyone recall the time when Norton reported 50% CPU usage?
