I own an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming EDGE AC motherboard and the Thermaltake GF1 modular PSU, but the power supply doesn’t include a 4-pin ATX cable for the CPU. I’m limited to using only the 8-pin connector, which isn’t sufficient. I’ve been searching online for a 4-pin ATX CPU power cable extension and would appreciate a link so I can purchase it.

You don't require the additional 4-pin connector. Relying on random adapters or cables might cause more damage than help.

Hello there! Which processor are you using? Unless you're going for a significant performance boost, the 4-pin and 8-pin combo isn't necessary—it'll easily supply ample power.

The single 8-pin EPS delivers ample power—384W is more than sufficient even for a 9900k, while the second unit handles heavy overclocking and LN2 tasks, though ambient conditions will limit performance. Using this adapter might be risky.

I experienced a fire with a Molex to P4 connector even though the device was disconnected from power during storage. The connections showed significant burning.

You won’t require a second 4-pin connector at all. Even an i9 would work fine without it (unless you customize). The GPU doesn’t influence this either. There’s nothing to worry about—feel free to use your PSU and motherboard as they are.

Even with an 8600k/9600k configuration, the extra 8-pin isn't necessary. As mentioned. ^. The GPU has no impact on this.
