I tried every trick I could, but my computer won't make a network adapter so I can't use the internet. Even after reinstalling Windows many times, nothing works. My motherboard is an HP P8H61-MX R2.0 and now I am trying to put Windows 10 on it.
You need to put in the drivers that came with your new computer part, or download them straight from the maker's site.
Should I install driver software on Windows 8, but not for Windows 10 because it's already in place?
Take care there. There isn't much else you could do. It's been too long since I tried this, and back then rules were strict if the computer had one version or the other. I don't remember exactly what they were. Just give it a shot if you want to.
Here is the download page for the Realtek drivers: https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-...s-software The manual says what your motherboard needs you should be able to use the Windows 10 drivers on the Realtek site
It's still not working and it keeps saying that the realtek network controller wasn't found. You need to turn off deep sleep mode or unplug and re-plug the cable. Maybe the port isn't working even though you plugged it in. Please try again. I have no idea what to do right now.
