Hey everyone, I have two CPUs but I'm not sure which one to pick for my gaming PC. I own an i3-10100f and an i5-8400, and my GPU will be a 1060 with 6GB of VRAM. I mostly play Apex Legends, Valorant, and CSGO. Thanks for the advice!

All the way through, 8 threads is the minimum needed for gaming on a 6core/6thread i5. This matters a lot in Apex—do you already have them or are you getting them?

Almost every board running at 10100f can be upgraded to a higher generation CPU, allowing you to improve it later. Consider getting an i5 or i7 when a better price appears.
