I'm having trouble starting MSI Center Pro on my MSI Modern 14 B5M with Windows 11 Home. I rely on it daily for fan adjustments, but it doesn't work even after reinstalling or trying to bypass Windows security. I've disabled firewalls, removed Kaspersky, and ran it as admin, yet the issue persists. I checked forums but only found one on the official MSI site suggesting a registry tweak, which I'm avoiding. If anyone has advice, please let me know—I can't adjust my fan settings or charging limits now.

I noticed a shift in actions during that time. What you did between the working and non-working periods likely influenced the outcome.

It seems the program is functioning properly this morning, especially since it only runs at startup. I didn’t notice much today—just gaming and browsing on my laptop. I also noticed it was paused for updates, but everything looked normal today.

You're experiencing the same problem again. It seems the update to MSI Center Pro version 2.1.28.0 (released June 5, 2023) introduced a bug. You can check your MSI Center Pro version in the Microsoft Store. I've tried several fixes, including reinstalling the software and still facing the same issue. I've already reported this to MSI; if you want to report it too, visit their ticket page at https://account.msi.com/services/tickets. They're working on a temporary solution pending the next update.

yeah me too, also bcs I'm using my laptop for some gaming I always put it on cooler boost but you know this is a laptop the whole point is that it's portable, so I hope they fixed this I'm reporting this for sure

The latest MSI Center Pro update appears to have an issue. I reached out to MSI live chat support, who provided a link to the older version along with installation instructions.
