This setup seems unusual but technically possible. Connecting your old HDD to the new system could work, though performance might be limited. With 8 GB RAM and Windows 7 installed, it should function, but expect slower boot times and limited multitasking. Make sure the HDD is compatible with your system and consider storage speed if you plan to run many games.
You'll also have to set up the correct drivers for your new equipment.
Based on what I heard, running Windows 32 can only support 4 GB of RAM.
It should function properly, but you'll only have about 3.75GB of usable memory available.
Please note the memory usage will stay within 4GB. I might opt for a 64-bit machine. Also, press F11 repeatedly when starting your new setup to select the boot drive. Good Day!
