I purchased an Aorus Ultra Z390, the system is running smoothly. However, when I modify settings in the boot error screen—like adjusting the fan curve—I encounter this issue. Have you tried enabling XMP profile 1? If not, the configuration file is set to 9900k. Let me know if you need further help!

DDR4-3600 XMP settings are likely too high for the CPU to manage. This is typical behavior from older motherboards—overclocking can cause instability. Are you using the latest BIOS version? If not, updating it might help. Your system has 32GB RAM—are you using a 4x8GB or 2x16GB configuration? Which specific motherboard/model do you have? Also, what are the listed XMP timings and voltages for that kit? Running four DIMMs can be more challenging than two, particularly with DDR4-3600 speeds.

you're in f10h with 4x8gb ram and a d60g cpu from xpg. the timing sequence you mentioned doesn't match what i see, and bios won't help much beyond 5.0.

DDR4-3600 overclocking isn’t fully supported, and Intel only backs DDR4 up to 2666. Focus on resolving the DRAM issue before pushing the CPU further. The boot failure seems linked to overclock attempts, as I’ve experienced similar messages on my Gigabyte Z390 board during both CPU and DRAM overclocking. Try lowering the DRAM XMP frequency to determine if the problem lies with the RAM or the overclock settings.

He likely wasn't targeting 5GHz speeds, probably just showing off what he hasn't achieved. My observations suggest it's more about the limitations I face. Personal experience shows 4DIMMS runs slower—even with two 8GB sticks at 3200MHz, I can push it to 3600, but stacking four won't reach 3600 and caps around 3466.
