You've received your RAM sticks, the G.skill Trident Z RGB 2400MHz CL15 2x8, but they're too bulky to fit into the case.

Can I confirm your "ddr4 slot" is an DDR4 slot? Have you attempted to install it? Did you check the mounting holes on the motherboard? If it fits, try applying slightly more pressure—just enough—not too much. If it still doesn’t go in, consider replacing the RAM and purchasing a new one.

They should be placed in slots 2 and 4 of your board. (your board contains 4 DIMM slots)

what board do you have? There should be enough clearance for the sticks to fit.

Which motherboard are you running? RAM makers typically produce slim heatsinks that let chips sit right beside one another in the slots.

It seems like a more affordable version is available, possibly with tighter spacing between the DIMM slots than typical. Not unusual, but certainly uncommon.

Consider purchasing additional memory without heatsinks, opt for another MB, or remove the heatsinks entirely or at least one of them.
